Great advances have been made in the quality of white fillings. There is a huge demand for mercury free fillings and at Springhill over 70% of fillings now placed are white fillings.

White fillings can either be placed directly in the mouth or can be constructed in the lab using ceramic materials and cemented in the mouth.
